Being just a beginner in the field of Journalism, I was awed by what I watched last night I.e., a grand opening ceremony of Khelo India University Games 2022.
Now let me tell you about the Khelo India University Games, first introduced in 2019 in Bhuwaneshwar, Odisha. This university game was played under the initiative ‘Khelo India’ started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018. Along with Khelo India University Games, other multi-events began with the same tagline ‘Khelo India’ like Khelo India Youth Games, etc.
This year’s Khelo India University Games 2022 is special as Uttar Pradesh is hosting these universities games for the first time and all stakeholders Association of Indian Universities, Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs (MYAS) are making their 100% effort to make it successful. Now coming into the opening ceremony, event began with welcoming of fan by well-known Indian commentator and IPL auctioneer Charu Sharma, sitting at the third row in between school children I myself was feeling proud of being a resident of Uttar Pradesh and also lucky that I was able to go to the opening ceremony and for this all thanks goes to Additional Chief Secretary Navneet Sehgal sir, who brought out my real talent through Khelo India University Games 2022 along with ACS sir I want to thank Aditya, Sounik, Michael, Abudhai, my PR colleague Tommy Alexander last but not the least my well-wisher Lalan Pal ji, P.S. to ACS who helped me in learning about how PR and Media works.
